Default O2 Retentions ?

I currently have an O2 contract with CPW which is due to end in just
over 1 month. With the loss of 08 numbers as inclusive minutes,
coupled with other matters, I will now only need a very small number
of minutes/texts.
CPW didn't offer anything to interest me when they called.
Is it worth me calling O2 Retentions to get the deal I am looking
for?
If so:-
1. Can someone please supply me with the number.
AND
2. At what point in the proceedings should I call them, i.e. before I
give my 1 month notice to quit my contract or otherwise?

Im not sure if it is the same for you, but when i upgraded my phone
with o2, i was orginally on o2 250 £35 p/m for 250 mins and 100 text.

I threatened to leave them, and kept refusing what they were offereing
me.

o2 gave in and offered me a free K800i (silver ed) 500mins and
500texts fir £10!

just hold out dude!

For people starting new contracts, since May 1st, the 08 numbers are
no longer inclusive. I have a PUFFL, that will still retain 08s as
inclusive abw.

oh that sucks

will have to speak to retentions. I'm not too concerned about new phones and
a reduction in line rental usually works out the same anyway

If you have an O2 CPW contract then, if my experience is anything to go by,
O2 won't talk to you directly. You *have* to go through the CPW O2 customer
services
