O2 sim only and credit checks.

Hi all,just wanted to know,if o2 do a credit check if you go for the sim
only deals? im very tempted by the online leisure 25 one (2000 off peak mins
and 1000 txts for £25),my credit history isnt that bad,but have been refused
12/18 mth contracts in the past.

Yes they do a credit check. However I had been refused a contract phone on
O2 a few years ago but managed to get the sim only deal. I suspect it is
easier to obtain a sim only deal due to less stringent credit checks.
