Default OCS helpful

Just for a change, I thought I'd report some good news.

I've been on a Family Talkplan for some time and calls between our
phones were free.

They stopped being free for part of December and January and all of
February.

Rang OCS and asked what was going on. After being on hold for a while,
got an apology, a promise to fix it and a promise to recalculate the
previous and current bill! Hurrah!

In the words of the old DHL ads.

A promise means nothing until it's delivered.

Yeah, I've had similar calls like that with Orange, only to find when I
get my next bill the credit isn't on there and there's no record of the
conversation ever happening.

Isn't this a bit like going into a supermarket and being surprised the pint
of milk you just bought was fresh?

Apart from answer the phone and tell you what you wanted to hear what have
OCS actually done for you?

Come back if and when OCS keep their promise.

Let's hope it is fixed immediately.

Orange's trick with bill cock-ups is to charge you the incorrect amount
until they can be bothered to completely fix the billing error.

If this continues into next month, you'll be advised to keep paying the
incorrect amount until they do fix it. The fact this leaves you out of
pocket is irrelevant to them.. YOU have to wait for the refund for the
overpayments. If you don't play ball, you risk losing service and a blip
on your credit file.

And I'm not sure why you're praising them for overcharging you for three
months?
