You no longer get the DD refund for paying your bill in Orange Retail
(since December).

Did anyone see yesterday's edition of "Watchdog" on BBC1..? Very
interesting I thought, the guy from BT in particular was squirming rather
a lot..!

They have put up a standard letter at

Default Re: Is this offer from Orange worth it?

I just signed to an 18 month contract.

Had been on YP200 with 500 texts for life for a few years. My contract was
£25 + insurance + wap + vat and the bills were coming in at £40 - £55 per
month as I was always under on the texts and over on the minutes.

Have always upgraded direct with OCS on line but they wanted £100+ for the
SE K800i that I wanted regardless of contract. Went in my local O shop and
signed to a racoon 35. I get 500 x net mobile mins, unlimited landline mins
and 200 texts. I dropped the wap as I barely use it and my last bill was £35
:-) Oh, and they gave me £150 back for taking a SE K800i and I got it free.

I have been happy with O as they always dropped the upgrade cost to £0 after
nine months. Will have to see what happens with this 18 month one.
