Default One Phone two SIMS

Morning all

Following on from my post earlier this month specifically querying
whether it was possible to run two sims on one number on the Orange network.

The answer was yes - details here
http://www.business.orange.co.uk/ser...=1135953583381

but unfortunately they will only provide it on their business tariff
which is at some cost (I am confusingly treated as a Small Business
customer despite being on a Virgin OVP contract)

So after 12 years with Orange I am prepared to consider any network
which will offer the equivalent service (one number two SIMS) on a
personal tariff.

The question is does anyone have any knowledge of what is available on
other networks ?

TIA

Alan

AFAIK the only other network offering the service you require is
Vodafone (at least they used to), but, as with Orange, AFAIK it is for
business customers only,

I have never signed anyone to either the Orange or Vodafone service,
primarily because all my business customers are on Sharer tariffs,
which are specifically excluded by both Orange and Vodafone.

Simon

Thanks for your input - you don't by any chance have a link to the
relevant tariffs. Worst case scenario is that I may put myself on the
cheapest business tariff to take advantage of the service offered.

Looking on the Orange site I guess I am probably looking at the Business
Solo package. As regards Vodafone I am completely at a loss.

TIA

Alan

If you're being treated as a Small Business customer you should be able
to use Everyphone, which would meet your requirements for inbound calls
at least.

You're right, I do think Vodafone offer it but the tariff it's
on is very very old, it doesn't even include any cross network
minutes, all you can do is talk or text.

GPRS and everything that needs it such as picture messaging or
going on vodafone live doesn't work.

You need to ring and ask them for multi sim.
