Orange n95 Firmware

iv had an n95 for a month now, loving it but the battery life is as
poor as i expected - but guess thats just the price u pay for having
all the stuff built in to the phone.

My firmware version is v11.0.026 17-04-07 RM159 Nokia N95 66.01 has
anyone any idea what the latest orange firmware is (and are there any
bugs - over the normal ones) because i dont want to waste time
restoring the phone after a firmware update if its not gonna do any
real good.

change your product code to the generic one and get the generic firmware,
much more stable.

what issues will it have with the orange features, i use line two and
i have heard it wont display a spool ans fone symbol

Don't know about line 2 but after I did the generic firmware update I
stopped getting the voicemail spool symbol. A quick call to Orange to
ask them to resend the voicemail SIM update has fixed it easily though.
I imagine line 2 might be the same but can't verify that as I don't
use it.

You have to do the firmware update with a valid SIM in the phone so I
suspect the update wiped out the orange-specific stuff from the SIM.
