Default Orange Out Here

I have stayed on the old payg standard tariff from years back for
cheaper evening calls, free evening calls and the 5 free text offer from
the "out here" package accrued over the years. Just noticed the free
texts have "disappeared" again. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

Dave

Just tried mine and a test SMS hasn't been charged. (I only keep this
SIM for the free 5 SMS a day, it's not been topped up for over a year).

Wife and I both had this since it began. Not topped up for years. We just
stick the sim in every 5-6 months and make a couple of calls to keep the
account active. Unless T&C's have changed this was all we had to do. They
(Orange) have tried a few times to get shot of this oversight but will blame
the system? or something other each time you call them.

You are still using the +447973100979 message centre number,
not 973

I was just going to suggest that, it's a common reason for being charged
in error. Give them a call and complain, they should refund the charges.

They might just for good customer relations,
but if it was the user who changed the number, then it's their fault.
