Default Orange OVP Virgin and 0844

Hi,

I have tried looking on the Orange website and the latest price manual does
not mention OVP at all now, I realise its discontinued.

The latest price manual seems to be here:

http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_pla...ce_guides.html

There is an OVP price guide below but its not accessible via the menu
structure, only via the search so I am dubious if its even active now,
especially when it was published in 2005.

http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_pla...ce_guides.html

So to ask the question, do OVP virgin calls to 0844 attract the standard
charge (I doubt) or some made up number from Orange, or is it published
somewhere?

Thanks,.

Mike

I don't know the answer, but chances are that if you dial an 0844 number
you'll get a pre-call free announcement telling you the cost, and giving you
the choice of whether to proceed or not. You certainly get that with
chargeable 0800 calls.

When I dial an 0800 from my 'Select500' tariff, it says summat like you will
be charged depending on whet tariff you are on, but it doesn't say what the
cost will be.

When I called the 0844 number I got no such announcement, so I guess I will
just have to wait for the bill!
