Default orange support answer, can anyone answer the question?

my question to orange support...

Query: Your tarriff for roaming 3G/GPRS is £8 / MB, what is the
minimum charge each time I use this service abroad?

the answer I was given...

Thank you for your mail regarding your Orange phone.

Unfortunately we do not have any 3G/GPRS charges for each time you
connect whilst abroad. We can only advise that you will be charged £8
per
MB.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards

xxx
Orange Customer Services

Can anyone offer an answer, was my question that bad?

DD

If I read that right, it doesn't matter how often you connect, your
billing is based entirely on your usage.

Nice of them to send you kisses, though

I think they answered the question. You don't pay a per connection
charge, or anything, just a per MB charge. £8 per MB = 800p per 1000KB
= 8p per 10KB = 0.8p per 1KB.
