'Technically speaking' the £5 internet monthly add-on excludes any use
of your mobile as a modem.
I'm sure that is in black and white in the terms and conditons.
BUT it does work (last time i tried) and many people have posted that
they too have used their mobiles as modems on the £5 a month internet
monthly with no problems and no additional charges.
If you decide to do so then be sure not to have loads of credit on
your SIM card.
That way if your modem usage isn't covered by the internet monthly (so
you get charged per M

then the most you will lose will be the amount
of credit you have left on your SIM card.
