My KRZR phone has broken completely after being charged with the correct
charger. The shop that sold it don't want to know and say I must have
got it wet (I haven't) and refuse to help.

Take it back and demand a refund. When they argue, say 'Sale of Goods
Act' followed by 'Trading Standards'.

IANAL etc.
ISTR Motorola have a couple of dots, one near the battery compartment,
and one on the circuit board inside - that change colour when they've
been in water. If these aren't showing a colour change, they're taking
the piss.
The problem being, if you let them do the examination, they might want
to get them wet to prove their point...

I'd like to know where these dots are ... I don't care if they wet the
phone or not as it's completely useless as things stand.

But if they do wet it, they'll then claim it was your fault and refuse to
fix it, and you'll be no better off.
.... I suppose you could take a photo of the un-wetted dots before you take
it in, or better still, show the shop the un-wetted dot before you hand the
phone in to them for checking/repair.

CPW are the worst, they been in trouble recently with the iPhone sales and
insurance.
.............go back in and state Trading Standards will be involved if they
do not get it fixed.
