Phone Calls on a 3 PAYG Internet SIM

I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy 7+ tablet. It will be used for browsing
the internet and emails mainly via Wi-Fi, with the very occasional text
message and even more occasional phone call.

I was thinking of getting a 3 PAYG Broadband SIM but I am not sure if you
can make phone calls and send TXT messages with one of these?

Only "3" can give a definitive answer. But it looks to me as if the
'Broadband' packages you've chosen don't include anything but 'Data'. I
suggest you go back to <http://store.three.co.uk/pricePlans> and include
some 'Voice Minutes' and 'Texts' as well as 'Data Allowance' in your
selection, to see packages that include all the services you want.
