Default phone no signal

Hi,

Whe I switched my phone on today, I was getting no signal and the
phone icon crossed, in an area where I usually get a strong signal.

On moving the phone around the signal appeared.

Is this typical with mobile phones.

Thanks

Probably a BTS (cell) temporally down, or your phone is slow.

Compare it to another phone of a different make side by side
