Ported number - now can't get texts from one source

I ported my number from T-Mobile to Asda Mobile.

All seems to work ok but since the porting I can't receive texts sent
from the Cardboard Fish texting site. I can receive them from other
web-based texting sites and from other mobiles.

I don't know in any detail what goes on within the phone system when a
number is ported but it's as though Cardboard Fish are somehow still
directing the texts to my old T-Mobile account and as a result they're
failing?

Can anyone explain what goes on when a number is ported and explain
why this problem might arise

Not the same problem but I did a port once and I could make calls but
not recieve them a phonecall to vodafone got me nowhere however it was
all sorted out by a visit to the shop in 10 mins seems that sometimes
there is a delay in getting verification from the old operator (o2)
was taking some time whenever someone called me they where getting
number not recognised. By midnight that night it went right.

Maybe you have a similar problem try calling yourself from a landline.
Since this problem I always test call both ways after porting my
number.
