Porting from 02 PAYG to Orange pay monthly

Hi,
I have an O2 PAYG Sim which I havent activated yet and would like to
port the number over to a new Orange paymonthly account

Please can you tell me the process for transfer - do I have to top it
up on O2 before I can port it over ?

If so, will O2 let me port it over

If you haven't activated the sim yet the number wont be active, you'll
probably have to topup and then call O2 for your PAC code.

Call O2 CS on 0800005005 to verify this is the case though.

Thanks for your help
I bought the number on ebay about 4 months ago (as it was very simliar
to my landline number) - is there a chance it may have expired ?

Yes you are right "activate before 22nd. September 2007"
