Thanks everyone for clearing this up for me. I used to get Virgin SIM
cards for the cost of the calls but when I tried to get a t-Mobile
card from Carphone they wanted £20. However, as t-Mobile are offering
cards for 50p on the net I have ordered one of those. How can these
shops get away with such extortionate charges? Surely no one actually
falls for it? The shop assistant did seem surprised when I intially
showed interest but I assumed at that point that it included the call
charges.
