questions I cant find the answers to

Got a three contract a month or so ago. Happy with deal.
Away for a few days so treated myself to a payg broadband on 3. Topped up 15
quid and works well.

These may be simple questions but

If I put my Contract sim in my dongle, what happens next ?

If I put my payg dongle sim in a phone, what happens next ?

I have texted my phone from my BB connection and it worked fine, and from
phone to bb worked too.

I have called my bb sim from my phone and get "number cant accept call"
message. Is this permanantly a BB sim, or can it become a voice sim ?

SIMs for Dongles are no different from SIMs that go in phones. Most
dongle packages have voice calls barred by the network.

The 3 PAYG sim in my dongle is different from a normal 3 PAYG sim
in that it hides the internet bolt on menu, ditched it for a normal 3 PAYG
sim
and top it up moving the sim to a 3 phone to use the phones menus

My 3 dongle SIM won't let me add the £5/month internet add on and
instead insists on me buying the £10 one so I too have got a free
voice SIM to use in it.
My dongle SIM also didn't allow roaming onto Orange's 2G network so it
was on 3's 3G or nothing. The voice SIM happily uses Orange too.
