I've NEVER ever seen any plan anywhere which takes 0870/0845 and even
0800 calls out of the minutes.
Which is why
http://www.saynoto0870.com/ lists 0800 number
alternatives, as it can be infinitely more expensive to call a so-
called "free" number from a mobile than a normal number!
eg: three, vodafone and o2 charge 15p/min for Non-geographic (e.g.084,
087, 080) numbers
So, a ten minute call to a "free" or 0845 or 0870 number would cost me
£1.50 from a mobile, or a "normal" number would cost...well, ten
included minutes!
Which is why I'm seeking out some service where I can dial a "normal"
number and they bill me for 08xx numbers, rather than the mobile co.
(Mind you, while I was looking around at those tarriffs, I see that
Three's data charges aren't that bad at all - £2.50 for 10Mb. One of
the others charges £3 PER MB!!)
