Have the phone re-flashed, this may reset the failed attempt counter
although I don't know for sure.

Send it away to a company like us or, in your case, I'd take it to a Nokia
Service Centre and they'll do it for free as it'll be under warranty.

Just say you want the firmware updated

Which actually works very well, did my 6680 on Sat and now have the latest
firmware on it.

So, can I just clarify? If I download the latest version of the
software off the Nokia website this will re-set my phone and allow me
to enter the unlock code again? What will it do the games etc that have
been downloaded?

All I can say is the Nokia update software worked ok for me and updated
the phone. Its your risk.

I went to some other forum and downloaded a Nokia 6630 unlocking software. I tried to run that software but it didn't worked. Is there really an unlock solution available for BB5 platform?

Only the early ones such as 6630, N70. And it's not free.

I've seen the program posted by Dejan in a forum(forgot which one). ie
for free.
