As far as the porting regulations go, once you get a PAC code, it's
valid for 30 days, then you're entitled to another one.

So, for example, you could in theory get a PAC code from your current
provider, ring your new provider on day 15 say, port on day 22 (it
usually takes seven days), then get a new PAC code on day 31 and port
away again.

I've certainly done this with Virgin.
