2G access in the UK is now limited - it will only connect to Orange in certain rural locations.
When abroad you can use 2G and 3G. E.g. if in Spain you can use the Movistar 2G and 3G service across the whole country - 3 have no control to restrict you to 3G only. They have no reason to anyway as they will be paying the foreign network the same amount regardless of what connection you are using. |
