Good God - the b*st*rds - I'm glad you told me that!
So does that mean that in practice that NOTHING gives you much more
than
320x240 resolution when it comes to displaying text ??

Nothing that fits into a pocket that is...!

I still think the clam-shell is the obvious way to go, design-wise.
It's such a shame the manufacturers keep getting distracted
with flip lids and gull wings etc.
