Road map that doesent use the internet

Hi all does anyone now where i can download a road map of
britain/england/world for my phone that doesent use the internet so the
whole map is stored in my phone

Have a good look around the Open Street Map on the following link, they have
some very good contributors working on a range of map options which are
generally copyright free, including searchable maps for Garmin GPS devices.
If you can't find what you are looking for, ask in the forums on there, but
give them a bit more information than you gave here, like the make and model
of your mobile phone, and what software you are using.

If you have a Nokia Symbian phone you can download Nokia maps for a wide
range of countries - for free.

yourself.

What a great piece of software that is, it gave me the most fun journey home
I've had in ages. I came to a small, 4 exit roundabout and it told me to
take the sixth exit. Then, after I ignored one of its frequent attempts to
take me in completely the wrong direction, it started behaving like a Dalek
with it's eye put out, calling out Impossible...Impossible...U
turn...Impossible...turn left....bear right....Impossible....Impossible,
before totally freezing. Excellent.

But I swear it's much more intelligent than it seems. Obviously annoyed by
me completely ignoring its bizarre directions all the way home, it tried to
exact its revenge by telling me to go anti-clockwise around the big
roundabout off the Chertsey M25 junction. Brilliant.

Free software - worth every penny.
