Default Roaming GPRS

I've signed up for vyke to get cheap SMS abroad & it's looks good.

My tarriff with orange quotes £8 / MB for GPRS abroad.
How is this charged? per kB? i.e . low usage will be cheap, or does
some minimum charging come in to play like other roaming services
offered?

On the question of vyke, I'm able to use the call@ function and set up
a call between two phones, If I do this abroad and I connect to my
mobile won't I still be charged some extortionate roaming charges buy
orange to receive the call?

Yes, that's why you should direct the call@ to a local number i.e. to a
friend, hotel, café, local SIM card a s o...

Thanks, this sounds like the intended application & will still be
useful.
