Got upgraded to a Samsung D900 which arrived yesterday.
I'm on Orange Network and haven't registered the sim yet.
What I've noticed is that if I put my 'current sim' from my Nokia phone into
the Samsung , the phone works fine and is connected to orange network Ok.
If I've got the unregistered SIM in ( obviously I can't make calls ) phone
works ok and I can bluetooth things across form phone to phone etc.
The only thing I can't do is enter any details into the address book - as
soon as I go to do anything associated with the contacts/address book I get
"phone book intialising" displayed and then nothing - it just goes back to
address book icon.
Is this becasue the sim hasn't been registered yet??
My old sim works fine in Samsung and allows me to view address book and and
delete/add from it so its not a fault on the phone.
Is it a dodgy sim or will I not be able to enter phone numbers until sim is
activated.
