Samsung E600 reset/password

I bought a 2nd hand Samsung E600. All seems to be working accept when
you go to the pictures folder it asks for a password. The previous owner
says he knows nothing about it. Went to do a master reset but it asks
for a password also.

Is the latter likely to be a standard factory set password or user set?
If the former does anyone know what it is?

No longer needed as phone is dying.
