Samsung E900 questions

Hello, I have a number of questions relating to the Samsung E900 I
have just started using and was wondering if someone could help...

1. Is it possible to have a ring tone and vibrate at the same time? I
can select melody, vibrate or vibrate and then melody but not both at
the same time. It would be very good if this functionality was
available. Can it be set this way?

2. When creating a text message it always defaults to abc, never
predictive. Is there a setting somewhere where I can start a text
message by using the left button on the selector switch and it starts
in predictive?

3. When I add a full stop in a text message (using the 1 key) and
whilst in predictive mode the start of the next sentence is not
automatically capitalised, this is a bit of an oversight and very
annoying - or am I missing something?

4. Why is the day number on the standby screen in white when the rest
of the date and time information is in black and easy to read? Can the
day number also be set to black so it can be more easily seen?

I am sure that I have more questions but that will do for now. Many
