Saving directly to mem card Samsung SGH-E250 ?

Is there a way to save files/mp3's/pics/video directly to the micro card in
the phone. Only way I can see is that you have to save to phone memory then
copy to micro card. You must be able to save directly to the micro card
surely and I'm just being thick and cant see how
