Default screne protectors for "soft" LCDs

hi - trying to get a stright answer on screen protectors for LCD
screens (nokia n95 in this case).
I had one one - thought it was pish and removed it. now I need to
know if removing these things can strip anything from the LCD (I
dunno....antiglare coating or whatever) or should I be fine? (screen
*looks* fine btw).

cheers all!

it was this one http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05...252&t_mode=des

(sorry for cross positing I tried alt.cellular.nokia but ppl there
seemed more interested in the fact I used the word "Pish" and so began
a debate as to my nationality :-( real helpful.

all you have there is a cover on the case

the lcd is separate, inside the case.

you have don no harm in removing it.

you can buy new covers for a few quid on ebay, in colours too.

well thats the crappy thing about the N95 - there is no "hard" case
over the LCD - even thought its not a touch screen its the same
exposed type of screen hence my concern. I really dont understand why
they did not just put a plastic case over the screen since its not
touch sensitive anyway.
