SE M600i not updating call log

Hi all,

I have a Sony Ericsson M600i which seems to intermittently update the call
log with made/received calls.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how have you managed to
resolve it? I have already re-applied the firmware. Hopefully someone will
have an answer before I contact SE.

On my P910i it always kept the last outgoing call at the top above the
last incoming, even if the incoming was the last call. Or maybe the
other way around, I can't quite remember at the mo, but it was one or
the other and it always made the call list look wrong!

Are you sure that's not what's going on here?

SE handsetsd have ordered the entries in an odd way - I remember my T39
being like that!

Unfortunately, this is not the problem I have - even if I dial a brand new
phonebook entry or number that wasn't in the log before it got 'stuck', it
won't appear in the list at all.

I have since found that it is only happening with outgoing calls; received
and missed calls are logged correctly!!

I've known of a few folk have this problem, have you still
got the cable for the phone? If so go to the sony ericsson
website and choose support, then download the software update
program, seemed to fix the ones I heard about.

That is the SE Update service program right?

I have already re-applied the latest firmware which fixed the problem for
about a day! Do you know if the problem was permanently fixed in their case?

I have fixed the problem by downloading the latest firmware (released over
Xmas) using the Update Service.

So glad I didn't go through the kerfuffle of sending it back!
