SE P990i ringing settings

Q1. I have recently replaced my 6310i with a P990i and would like to
find out whether it is possible to set an alternative loundness profile
with the timer so that at the appointed time the profile reverts back
to the original. Eg on the 6310 I set the profile from loud to silent
via "timed" and at the appointed time the profile reverted back to loud
from silent. Can't find anything about this in the handbook and the
chap in my local Orange shop said this facility is unique to Nokia
software. Is he correct?

Q2. Can anyone suggest a book/website that I can use to get the best
use out of my 990? It obviously does a lot more than my 6310 does but
the menus are more complicated than Excel!!
