Over the past 2 months or so, I have had some big time problems sending
texts from my (Contract) Orange phone to (PAYG and Contract) '3' network
numbers. (When I've been out of the UK)
When I try and send it gives me the 'Message Not Sent' error message.
I have tried at several times of the day, including between 1am and 3am!
It seems a sort of 'hit and miss' affair if they are delivered or not.
I'm on a 'Your Plan' contract so delivery reports are free.
If I 'phone' then there is no problem all.
AND as a secondary thing, the last weekend I tried to send a text
message (while roaming) using 'FIVE' networks!
Swiss Orange, Swiss T-Mobile - Austrian A-1 - Austrian T-Mobile and some
other Austrian network.
*EVERYONE* gave the same error message, that the SMS could not be
delivered.
Has any one got any idea's or theories??
As a PS. I've been to Austria several times before and had NO PROBLEMS
sending text/voice messages from my Orange contract phone to *ANY*
network before, including Cingular in the US.
