Default Silly iPhone thinks 'uk' means 'I'm'

What do I do?

The silly iPhone thinks I mean to say I'M when I mean UK.

other than pressing the 'x' to correct it is there any other way I can
overcome this annoyance?

Thanks
London

<follow ups corrected>

It's corrective text. Typing tpmatp will trigger the Fat Finger
technology used in the iPhone to correct it to tomato. Nomatter what
keypad is used something is going to have to go!

My n95 used to get confused over home/gone with T9 but I find there
are less errors with the iPhones Corrective Text than on T9.
