Default SIM suggestion

Hi

I need a suggestion for a SIM plan

I need a UK SIM-only plan with something like the pay-as-you-go
scheme. I'm based abroad, I'd like a SIM with not expiry, to be
"recharged" by credit card and no contracts. I've experience with
German/Italy/France mobile operators but not with ones in UK. I'll be
in London at the end of July and I'll buy my SIM
No virtual operators (like united-mobile and similia)
Do you have any suggestion ? operators' web sites are a bunch of not
uncomprehensive marketing slogans :-(

Thanks, Alex

Who will you be ringing? - UK or abroad?
Lots of calls or few?

No UK PAYG Sims have no expiry, most are 6 months of disuse

Three now have a zero service charge per month contract 3g sim,
if you take the free online itemised billing option it should cost you
nothing per month when not being used.

You will probably need a UK address and pass a UK credit check
If you can, or have a friend in England who can run it for you,
with no disuse expiry date that would be your ideal solution.
