Skype Phones

Anyone using a Skype Phone on their WiFI only?

If you buy one and don't buy "top ups" it isn't clear if it will still
operate via Skype on your own WiFi network. Does anyone know?

Basically, I want a cordless phone I can use from home only.

Are you wanting to use Skype because you particularly want to call
others who use Skype or do you want to make savings on your call
charges. If the latter you'd be FAR better off using SIP. Get an ATA
and connect a standard DECT cordless phone that you can get from
anywhere - alternatively use a SIP WiFi phone. If you want more info.
