Ah, I'm now on Virgin PAYG and they put you through to the RAC travel
line (1740) which doesn't know where you are but I recall I used to be
with T-Mobile years ago and their 2020 did (and possibly still does).
I'll try them both and compare. Their websites quote 45p/min for O2
customers and 35p/min for T-Mobile. Cost isn't so much of a factor;
it's just getting quick accurate information on the odd occasion
needed.
I've tried the RAC web access using Avantgo but I can't get the maps
up on my HP514
