Default SMS From 'My Nokia'

Recently I keep getting texts giving my 'helpful' tips like 'Tip: Did you
known you can view missed calls using the Call Register' (No! Really!!
WOW!!!)
It's not a massive problem, as they are quite infrequent(1 per week or so),
and I don't seem to get charged from them, but they are slightly annoying.
I know that you can usually send STOP to a service and it's supposed to
prevent further messages, but these messages come from 'My Nokia' and not a
phone number. (Before you ask, I don't have My Nokia in my phonebook)

Any suggestions as to how I can stop them being sent, or who they might be
from?

Regards,
Chris.

Are you sure you never registered for a My Nokia account here?

http://my.nokia.com/A4399302

Once logged in to that site you can cancel those SMS messages under
the "Edit my details" section.

"Let us know, if you want My Nokia to send mobile messages to you*:
No
Yes"

Yea, you're right. Remembered about 10 minutes after posting the message.
Dug through my old emails, found my orginal password and turned text
messages off...

Thanks,
