sms over gprs incoming / MT

Hi

I am interested in finding out the maximum number of incoming sms per
minute to a uk mobile or modem.

Do the uk networks deliver over gprs? What is the approx incoming
messages rate per minute?

Using a mobile / modem with own sim offers the benefit of being able
to choose your own memorable number (bought at reasonably cost),
rather than getting a virtual number from eg mxtelecom (which would be
'any old number' - unless I pay a big price for a 'gold' number).

Any comments on benefits / problems with any particular UK network?

No.

I reckon on about 1 every 4-5 seconds, so 12-15 per minute?
