SMS problem on Vodafone network

Hi,

Over the last 3 days I have become aware of a number of text messages
that have been sent to me but that have not arrived. This is an
intermittent problem as it is not all messages that are not arriving -
just some of them. There does not seem to be a pattern to those that
aren't arriving either - they are from different people and on
different networks. I telephoned vodafone this morning who state that
the missing texts show as being delivered to my phone (Blackberry
Pearl) but they weren't!

I would appreciate any feedback on whether you think this could indeed
be a problem with my phone (it was working perfectly until thursday
evening and, SMS problem aside, appears to still be working perfectly)
or whether it is more likely to be a network issue of some
variety......

I would say that if Vodaonfe are able to confirm delivery then your
device may not be altering you.

Is the memory approaching full? Have a clearout and see if that works.
Make sure you delete some texts from your SIM as well.

Just in addition to Jon, I'd also suggest trying your SIM in another
handset to see if the problem persists.
