Sony Ericsson codes

Is there a code to use to tell if a Sony Ericsson is unlocked or not rather
then trying different SIM cards?

The squence > * < < * < * will get you into the test mode.

The sequence < * * < will show you the SIM lock status if I remember
correctly.
