Sony Erricson Z610 imap4 support

hi all,

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how the z610i handles imap. I
have set it up on the phone and the first sync it added the email. I was
wondering how far back it goes in terms of date and is there anyway of
getting it to only sync new email ?
