Default Speed Dial Number Problems

I have just replaced my easyMobile SIM card with a new Tesco one. All my
contact details are in the phone memory.

The speed dial for my home landline used to be on "2".

Using this now takes me to "Call Time Credit" although the instructions with
the SIM say I need to key in "2 #" to get it.

If I key in "2 # call" it now connects to my landline number which is the
exact opposite of what I should get according to the Tesco instructions.

What I used to get with one button push now takes three.

I really need it to work as Tesco says it should. Has anybody got any idea
why this should be?

Phone is a Motorola V3i
