Default Status bar icons on LG optimus one (Android) on 3

There is one icon on the sates bar that is not described in the manual. It
looks very much like a data icon, but instead of E in the icon itself there
is H. I am guessing that it could mean high speed data, but it is just a
guess. Is it that or is it something completely different?

H = HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), also called 3.5G; so yes,
high(er) speed data. (Or not, depending on how over-congested your
mobile telco is.)
