Switching off voicemail on Virgin

I need to switch off voicemail on my mobile phone, I am on Virgin.

I tried going through the menu options on my mobile (Motorola W375) and
selected cancel all diverts but when I check again the diverts are still on!

Anyone got any ideas?

You need to ring them and ask for auto divert to voicemail to be turned off.
The first few times you ring you'll probably get someone who has no idea
what you are talking about though...

I had mine turned off some time ago, but the call still managed to divert to
voicemail while I was abroad recently (and the phone said no diverts were
active when queried).

Thanks just got through to them and they did it.
