Default T-Mobile Flext + online billing

I've very recently joined T-Mobile on a Flext + Web n Walk plan. I've also
registered for online billing. On the online billing's recent calls list,
I notice that I'm being charged for calls when I thought this came out of
my allowance? The numbers called are to a Vodafone mobile. Text messages
sent correctly have a charge of 0. Do the call costs shown readjust itself
when the billing period is complete and the final bill for the month is
issued or is this a mistake?

The charge does not re-adjust itself, or at least it never has in my
experience. I don't know of any reason why Vodafone mobiles should be
treated in any way differently to mobiles on any other UK network, or
fixed lines with 01/02 geographic numbers for that matter. Are all your
calls to non-Voda numbers being handled correctly - i.e. charged as
£0.00?

It sounds like a foul-up on T-Mobile's part. You could check with
Customer Services by calling 150, but be prepared to be given some
dubious answers such as "the computer got it wrong" or "it will
probably put itself right". They will probably tell you to wait for the
bill to become available, and then to call them again if there's still
a problem. One line of approach might be to ask them to explain exactly
why you are being charged for these calls, rather than complaining that
you shouldn't be.

Good luck! Bob Jones

I don't make that many calls as I mainly use T-Mobile for data, but
noticed the anomaly after doing some test calls - a 4 second call to a
Vodafone mobile was charged, but a 23 second call to the same number
wasn't. The landline calls I tried have a £0.00 charge as I expected
it to.

I called them up and they said to call back if there's still a problem
after the bill has been issued, so I will have to see what happens.
