t-mobile gprs problems

Hi All,

I have been using t-mobile GPRS to browse the internet and download TomTom
traffic data using my HTC Artemis phone for a while.

Yesterday I tried to download the data again, and received a message that
the server could not be contacted. On trying internet explorer I found that
I could get onto the T-Mobile portal page using the "wsp://" protocol, but
cannot access any pages using the "http://" protocol.

I have tried recreating my GPRS connection again, and have reset my phone
etc, and nothing seems to help.

Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone suggest a workaround?

Strangely enough, when trying to connect to HTTP:// pages, my GPRS data
counter still clocks up (alarmingly rapidly) but no page can be loaded, mt
phone just sits with the message "Locating..." in the status bar until the
error message appears. I have even tried using alternative DNS servers, but
that did not help

Any assistance would be appreciated.
