normally text from uk to abroad cost more than a normal text, I only
know it from O2 (PAYGO) that if u have a international bold on (about
5 er one off payment) than it costs the same as an UK text

If you are texting from the UK to a UK mobile that is currently abroad then
the cost will be the same as if that mobile was in the UK.

If you are texting from a UK mobile that is abroad to a UK mobile that is in
the UK it will usually be slightly higher than your normal text charge.

If you are texting a foreign (say French) mobile that is in France from a UK
mobile in the UK then it might be slightly more expensive than normal, but
will depend on the details of the tariff you are on...

Does this help:

and if you are in the EU

The interesting point is it costs 40p to send and SMS, but 20p to send an MMS
which will come out of my Flext allowance, so effectively free for us Flext
customers.

One thing I know is I will not be sending any SMS messages
