Phoned up three CS yesterday lunchtime to try and upgrade from my LG U880 to
a N73.
I basically just asked for my PAC straight away because I'd seen a better
offer elsewhere (e2save N73 12 month contract on O2 400 with 6 months
free!).
I said that I didn't necessarily want to leave Three, but would unless they
could match or beat that offer. BUT the lovely Indian woman said that the
best she could do was 3 months half price and that was it!! Then she just
tried to sell me a bunch of other phones on 18 month upgrade terms.......
Anyway, I kept declining and just asked for my PAC. "no problem" she says,
then puts me on hold briefly and comes back on the line saying that there
are "technical problems" getting my PAC and she will try again later.
grrrrrrrrr
So, are they just trying to fob me off or what? Anybody else had this?
I was expecting a call from customer retentions or something like that but
nothing so far......
What does everyone else think should be my next step? Wait for a few days?
Or get on the phone again now to try again?
