Default Time limit on calls with Three?

Hello,

My mum is on Mix and Match 1100 with Three UK. Today during an
exceptionally long phone call she was cut off after about 2 hours with a
message along the lines of "you have exceeded your credit limit" (don't
have the exact wording). She was then unable to make calls for about 5
minutes. I checked remaining minutes and she has over 700 of the 1100
left and no additional spend on the account.

Has anyone else experienced this with Three? Is this standard practice
with other phone companies too?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Probably to stop you using up all your time with accidental calls.

I have a friend with a 3 phone. He has managed to get two calls to my
number up simultaneously by leaving it with the keyboard unlocked in his
pocket.

Long calls are often terminated for no apparent reason - I've experienced
this on *all* UK GMS networks and virtuals.

I've found this also happens on the Finarea call-throughs and sometimes
on Betamax VoIP connections, however in each case I've been able to
redial straight away.
