Default Tom Tom backup P910i

Need to swap out my P910i tomorrow FOC with Orange
but it has Tom Tom on it with the map locked to the handset

If I backup the phone (with SE software) to PC, will
I be able to move the Tom Tom over to the new P910i ? or will I lose it ?
TIA

As far as I know, you will need to contact TT and give them the new IMEI
number as I think you are allowed two changes within a year.

hmm that might be tricky, as its a demo code given from a Tom Tom reseller
any other ideas?

If it works the same as the pocket PC version the activation code for
the map is derived from the IMEI of the phone, and therefore will not
work in your new phone.

For a care replacement there is no paperwork.
